This website is created and maintained by a multidisciplinary group of physicians, advanced practice partners and staff dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of FND.

Our Mission

We are committed to empowering people with FND, their caregivers and the greater community by offering evidence-based treatment, innovative research, and education. For those in our care, our goal is to optimize their wellness, improve their quality of life, and prepare them for the next phase of the recovery journey.

We have a multidisciplinary approach starting with appointments with providers in Neurology and Psychiatry, specializing in the treatment of FND. Consider this a starting place to explore what we can provide and what can be learned.

This fund was originally created and dedicated to Dr. Strom in support of her ongoing treatment and research of individuals with epilepsy, about 15% of whom also suffer with Functional Neurological Symptoms Disorder (FND) with attacks or seizures. Since the inception of the FND Clinic, in 2014, the fund has been used to support growth and development of best practices to evaluate and treat people with FND. Your donation to this fund is gratefully accepted to continue this work.

Dr. Strom and manager Meagan Watson took the time to go over what FND/PNES really is and made me feel better after being treated so horrendously at my hometown hospitals. I have been repeatedly told that I was “faking” and “it is all your choice to be having these fake seizures” many times over the last 3 months. Dr. Strom explained how sadly this is extremely common and how she has podcasts to help educate and end the misunderstanding and stigma! Dr. Strom assured me that what is happening to me is very “real” and can be overcome with the proper treatment. This gives me great hope! Thank you so very much Dr Strom and all of the Neuroscience team!!!
